Philippine Foundation for Vaccination Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit
organization to protect and advocate for the promotion of vaccination
as essential to disease prevention, especially among infants and
children.

Vision Champion of disease prevention through vaccination for a healthy Filipino nation.
Mission To advocate vaccination as a means of disease prevention to improve the quality of life of children, adults, and their families.
Goal To advocate vaccination as a means of disease prevention to improve the quality of life of children, adults, and their families.
Objectives To help increase the coverage of recommended vaccines included in NIP in all regions for children less than 1 year old to 90% by the year 2015 To make possible the inclusion in the NIP of recommended vaccines for all ages and special risk groups
by the year 2015 To make available to the general public, the updated recommended vaccine schedule on a yearly basis To increase the number of stakeholders in vaccine advocacy
Strategies: Partnership and networking Collaborate with national and local government, healthcare organizations, non-government organizations, foundations, and private volunteer groups involved
in similar programs Partner with international organizations with similar objectives through international conferences, advisory
group meetings, and policy development Implement vaccine outreach programs and services Education Conduct information dissemination through mass media campaigns and community
mobilization Educate through the National Immunization Conference, seminars, workshops, and focus group discussions Disseminate the updated recommended immunization schedule for Filipinos Research Encourage and support research on vaccines and immunization practices Resource generation Generate resources to support the mission and vision of the foundation |
