Dr. Sarah Makalinaw is the co-chair of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committees of Victor R. Potenciano Medical Center (VRPMC) and Rizal Medical Center. She also co-chairs the Infection Control Committee of Rizal Medical Center. She is a member of the Research Ethics and Review Committee of VRPMC. She is also a member of the editorial board of the Pediatric Infectious Disease Society of the Philippines (PIDSP) Journal. She is currently affiliated with The Medical City, Victor R. Potenciano Medical Center and Rizal Medical Center. She graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Medicine under the Integrated Liberal Arts and Medicine (INTARMED) program. She took both her residency training in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Infectious and Tropical Diseases at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital.
