The Vaccine Study Group (VSG) was pioneered in the 1990s by Dr. Lulu Bravo and other pediatric infectious disease experts in the Philippines.

The group's mission is to translate vaccine research into action to improve vaccine coverage and reduce childhood morbidity and mortality.

VSG has conducted numerous studies on vaccines and vaccine-preventable diseases, including clinical trials for new vaccines and epidemiological studies. VSG has also collaborated with various institutions and organizations, both local and international, to raise awareness of vaccination and support vaccination programs.
