Dra. Santos is presently the Training Officer of the Department of Pediatrics at the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center. She is also the Head of the Infection and Prevention Control Committee of the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center.


In 2001, she attended the Global Health Training in Helsinki, Finland. After her participation in the Advance Course in Vaccinology of the International Vaccine Institute at Seoul, South Korea in 2015, she has since been organizing and participating in seminars and workshops on vaccinology and vaccine-preventable diseases, and became over-all-chair of the 19th PHILIPPINE NATIONAL IMMUNIZATION CONFERENCE in 2018. This was held in the midst of declining vaccine confidence in the country brought about by the Dengvaxia issues and paved the way towards restoring vaccine trust and resilience among health care workers.


She has authored and published studies on Rotavirus and Varicella. Dra. Santos is a graduate of the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center. She finished her pediatric residency training at the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital and fellowship training in Pediatric Infectious Diseases in the same hospital and the Research Institute of Tropical Medicine
